We’re looking for a service and installation technician to make sure our equipment is competently installed and maintained in great working order.
Service/Installation Technician
Your goal in this position is to work independently and in a team to install and service our full line of agricultural equipment. This includes automated feeding equipment, weighing equipment, ventilation, penning, and flooring. Along the way, you’ll build strong, long-lasting relationships with clients through your solid competence and credibility.
You’re always seeking to improve your skills, learn new things, and aim to make excellent knowledge-driven recommendations or decisions.
You’ll succeed in this role if you are:
oTechnically and mechanically gifted – maybe you grew up working on farm equipment, or you’ve worked as a millwright/mechanical technician. Either way you have great diagnostic and trouble-shooting skills, can think independently, and love problem-solving.
oElectrical knowledge – you have a strong electrical background, from a troubleshooting and installation perspective. Whether you’ve wired up exhaust fans, traced and repaired short-circuits, or wired your house, you have excellent skills and confidence.
oFlexible and positive – this is a small company, so you have no problem taking on any task that needs to be done. You enjoy diversity in your job and come to work engaged and look forward to each day’s challenges.
Working @ Dwyer
This is a full-time permanent position, working out of our Dublin shop, and on the road installing and servicing when required. You’ll work Monday to Friday, pay commensurate with experience. We offer benefits and a bonus structure.

Qualifications
oExperience working as a millwright or mechanical technician, or have strong electrical and mechanical trouble-shooting skills
oExperience working in the farming industry, outdoors or in livestock facilities, esp. swine
oFabrication and welding experience, and ability to read layouts and blueprints
oGood computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office
oPhysically fit and able to lift 50+lbs
oValid driver’s license
