Job description

We are searching for a Business Development Representative in the mining sector for our client, a well-known and profitable mining company. As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for building out the Manitoba and Red Lake regions and developing relationships with clients. You will also take over the existing client pool in the region.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in Manitoba and Western Ontario
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including engineers, project managers, and procurement teams
  • Collaborate closely with our mechanical team to ensure seamless delivery and implementation of engineered pump solutions
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets, with a commission structure that rewards high performance
  • Provide market feedback to the Sales Director and help shape our regional strategy
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings

What You Bring To The Table

  • Proven track record in business development, particularly within the engineered pumps or related mechanical solutions sector
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to travel as needed within the territory
