is currently recruiting a Full-Time Temporary Teacher to join the Building Futures Program for the 2025/2026 school year.
Sturgeon Public Schools is proud to partner with local builder, San Rufo Homes, to offer the Building Futures program to a select group of graduating Grade 9 students who will build a house from the ground up. The classroom location will be on the build site located in the Riverside community in St. Albert. Building Futures, started by Coventry Homes in 2019, provides an immersive and unique one-year program for Grade 10 students. The partnership with Sturgeon Public Schools and San Rufo Homes will be modeled after existing Coventry Homes partnerships. For more information, please visit:
FTE: 1.0 FTE; Full-Time Temporary Teacher teaching Grade 10 Math and Science courses.
This assignment may include other subjects depending on school needs and qualifications of the successful applicant.
