About the company: A well-established Construction Consultancy working in multiple sectors, including Residential and Commercial, is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their successful team. Based in Southampton with other offices in key locations, they have built a strong reputation and aim to expand further. This medium-sized, multi-disciplinary Construction Consultancy offers comprehensive Cost Management services, including Project Management, Employers Agent, and Building Surveying.

About the role:

1. Lead and manage cost consultancy services across various construction projects.
2. Prepare and oversee cost plans, budgets, and tender documents.
3. Perform valuations, cost reporting, and change control throughout project lifecycles.
4. Mentor and support junior team members.
5. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
6. Contribute to business development and the growth of the QS team.
7. Collaborate with other departments to provide an integrated service offering.

About the requirements:

• AssocRICS/MRICS qualified or working towards Chartership with strong experience.
• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in a consultancy environment.
• Strong technical knowledge and commercial awareness.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
• A proactive, solution-focused mindset and commitment to quality.
• Experience in residential or affordable housing sectors is desirable but not essential.

Salary: Negotiable, dependent on experience, up to £75,000. Other benefits include RICS subscriptions paid for and support for career progression.
