An Assistant Quantity Surveyor is required for a fit-out project based in Southampton. Our client is looking for an experienced and hardworking Assistant Quantity Surveyor to work on a building and construction project.

Assistant Quantity Surveyor - Fit Out Responsibilities:
  1. Assist in cost estimations
  2. Be able to handle budget management
  3. Ensure the project stays on track within budget
  4. Prepare regular financial reports
  5. Manage relationships with subcontractors
  6. Communicate with clients and other stakeholders
  7. Identify and assess potential risks
  8. Maintain accurate records of project costs, budgets, and contracts
Requirements for the Assistant Quantity Surveyor Role:
  • Ability to analyze data and identify trends in project costs
  • Effective communication skills with clients, subcontractors, and team members
  • Ability to identify and resolve commercial and contractual issues
  • Good knowledge of construction principles and quantity surveying techniques
