As an Account Manager , you are instrumental in building and nurturing strong relationships with our clients and key team members across Riide Holdings Inc. (RHI). In this role, you will be responsible for upholding exceptional service standards, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction, and driving client retention. You’ll also collaborate closely with various internal teams, including Dispatch, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and the General Manager, to support seamless operations and outstanding service delivery.
Your Responsibilities
- Work closely with our existing clients, including all aspects of account management, timely problem solving, and resolution while adhering to RHI's best practices and standard procedures.
- Provide professional, courteous service to all existing clients, resulting in positive account retention that meets or exceeds expectations.
- Participate in day-to-day communication with existing clients and assist clients with issue resolution or requests.
- Work with clients to facilitate changes to their service requests.
- The Account Manager coordinates, organizes, and conducts client meetings.
- Follow through with all meeting action items.
- Work with team members to communicate the implementation of new plans and client changes.
- Be responsible for monitoring and reporting concerns to specified team members.
- Manage projects related to account setup, services, contracts, events, RFPs, technological changes, payment and fee structures, contract amendments, forms, pricing, etc. Assist in preparing reports and analyzing trends.
- Proactively assist team members in streamlining services, developing best practices, delivering client and account education, and planning client / team servicing initiatives.
- Maintain accurate and organized account files by documenting conversations and ensuring data accuracy.
- Stay informed about industry changes and external conditions impacting our clients by attending relevant training and courses.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
What you will bring to the role
- 3+ years’ experience in account management.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from clients, team members, management, and the public.
- Ability to respond to client needs, solicit feedback, and handle difficult situations promptly and accurately.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data.
- Motivated to support a diverse team and contribute positively to team environment.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and a self-starter.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
- Proficiency in Windows-based systems.
