We are currently seeking a Donation Centre Manager with proven experience in warehouse or logistics operations to lead our team in a dynamic, fast-paced, and mission-driven environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong operational knowledge, a hands-on leadership style, and a passion for social impact. Your expertise in managing warehouse workflows, coordinating logistics, and ensuring efficient inventory movement will be key to keeping our operations running smoothly and aligned with our purpose.

Position Overview

The Donation Centre Manager will oversee the end-to-end operations of our donation centre, ensuring the efficient management of donated goods, inventory control, logistics, and staff management. We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in retail or nonprofit operations, someone who thrives in a leadership role and is passionate about making a positive impact in the community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate the donation centre team, setting performance goals and driving results through Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Oversee all aspects of donation processing, including sorting, pricing, and distribution of donated goods.
  • Develop and implement effective supply chain strategies to ensure timely and cost-efficient operations.
  • Manage inventory, minimize waste, and ensure the proper handling of donations.
  • Provide excellent customer service, maintaining positive relationships with donors, volunteers, and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Finance to establish budgets and track performance metrics.
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment in compliance with health and safety protocols.
  • Lead recruitment and staff development efforts to build a high-performing team.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of management experience in retail, nonprofit, or supply chain operations.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations, logistics, and inventory management, preferably in environments where inventory is constantly changing or unpredictable.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven leadership skills and the ability to manage and develop high-performing teams.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for social impact and commitment to the mission of WINS.
