The Business Development Representative identifies business opportunities, finds new applications, and drives Design-In activities in partnership with our customers. This role involves collaborating with Sales, Distribution, Product Management, and Engineering teams to provide technical support and market insights. The candidate will also manage daily office tasks and requests.

About the Job :
  1. Identify opportunities to design in Littelfuse technologies at defined regional customers, analyzing volume, target price, design schedule, competition, and value proposition in close collaboration with the sales team.
  2. Drive opportunities from prospecting through qualification to sales order.
  3. Provide necessary follow-up and support.
  4. Follow and implement strategies at key accounts and product focuses in the region, providing feedback for strategy improvement.
Primary Focus (90%) :
  • Research and analyze top OEMs in assigned vertical markets, starting with industrial OEMs, specifically food & beverage equipment manufacturers, working with Product Managers and OEM Sales Teams.
  • Use basic product knowledge and marketing materials to make initial sales pitches to non-technical audiences.
  • Nurture relationships through channels (IBU or EBU) or direct engagement, involving SE or OEM sales teams as needed.
Secondary Focus (10%) :
  • Perform administrative tasks including handling calls, emails, data entry, file organization, and shipping support (RMA, R&D).
  • Assist with office supplies, mail, and other administrative duties.
Requirements :
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team skills.
  • High energy, detail-oriented, with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Relevant education (Grade 12 diploma with business courses or extensive clerical experience) and proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook.
