Job description

• Support capital builds and network expansion : install, commission, and maintain equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues to meet service restoration targets.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure network reliability and performance.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and perform cutovers / upgrades.
• Maintain and update site documentation and inventory records.
• Perform acceptance testing and site inspections.
• Monitor service indicators and support network optimization activities.
• Perform call testing and isolate sources of radio interference.
• Complete reports : trouble tickets, incident logs, mileage, timesheets, and expenses.
• Adhere to safety standards and health & safety policies.

Requirements :

• 5+ years of telecommunications experience.
• Diploma or certificate in Telecommunications from a recognized institution.
• Hands-on experience with microwave, fibre optics, SONET, TCP / IP.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Valid BC driver's licence with a clean driving record.
• Ability to travel to multiple sites and work with minimal supervision.
