Customer Service Sales Associate at Dollar/Thrifty

As a Customer Service Sales Associate at Dollar/Thrifty, you will interact with customers at the counter to process rentals, advise on rental options including insurance and additional benefits, and ensure a positive customer experience.

Wage: $17.75 hourly

Responsibilities:
  1. Provide excellent customer service by managing rental and return processes in accordance with Hertz policies.
  2. Greet customers warmly and professionally.
  3. Represent Hertz with a professional appearance, language, and behavior.
  4. Ensure vehicles are clean and safe for each customer.
  5. Take ownership of customer issues and resolve them promptly.
  6. Promote brand loyalty and teamwork.
  7. Use approved sales techniques to identify customer needs and offer suitable products.
  8. Accurately prepare all rental and return documents.
  9. Qualify customers based on rental requirements.
  10. Assist customers with directions, local information, and other inquiries.
  11. Review rental rates and charges with customers.
  12. Ensure accuracy of return dates and charges at vehicle return.
  13. Complete rental documentation thoroughly.
  14. Answer phones courteously and assist customers effectively.
  15. Resolve customer service issues efficiently.
  16. Coordinate with customers to minimize wait times and improve service efficiency.
Skills:
  1. Passion for customer service and attention to detail.
  2. Self-motivated with goal achievement focus.
  3. Proficiency in computer use, including multiple systems, with strong typing skills.
  4. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and oral; multilingual candidates encouraged to apply.
