About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Representative with direct exposure to the security sector someone who understands the language of security, can speak to client concerns, and drive strategic growth through targeted sales initiatives in commercial, retail, and physical security services.

In this role, you will play a vital part in shaping Wincon’s growth trajectory by generating leads, closing deals, and forging long-term relationships with new and existing clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, pursue, and convert new business opportunities within the security industry (commercial, retail, and physical security verticals)
  • Develop and deliver persuasive proposals and customized presentations to potential clients
  • Collaborate with operations and marketing teams to align service offerings with market demands
  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline by proactively managing both warm and cold leads
  • Provide insights into industry trends and customer needs to guide Wincon’s strategic initiatives
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and client meetings to promote Wincon’s service excellence
  • Use CRM systems (Salesforce) to track leads, opportunities, and performance metrics

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of proven B2B sales experience with a strong preference for candidates with a background in the security industry (commercial guarding, mobile patrol, loss prevention, etc.)
  • Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets in a competitive environment
  • Strong consultative sales approach and ability to build long-term client partnerships
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Valid Ontario Driver’s License, insurance, and clean driving record (gas card provided)
