This new format will redefine excellence and create opportunities for greater participation and engagement among fans and players worldwide. The Position

Reporting to the Head Of, Brand & Marketing - Canada, the Content Manager will be a key member of the FIFA26 CAN Commercial team, collaborating closely with the FIFA Zurich Project team and other stakeholders to deliver top-tier design solutions for FWC26.

The main responsibilities include:

  1. Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy aligned with business goals and target audiences, including marketing plans and presentations.
  2. Work with content creators such as writers, editors, designers, and multimedia producers.
  3. Coordinate with marketing, brand, and other departments to ensure content supports broader objectives.
  4. Partner with creative, digital, and social media teams to create cohesive campaigns that reflect the brand’s voice and style.
  5. Manage the content creation process from ideation to publication, ensuring quality and brand consistency.
  6. Secure approvals for content before publication, adhering to standards and guidelines.
  7. Maintain a content calendar aligned with marketing campaigns and key events.
  8. Ensure timely content delivery across channels by streamlining workflows.
  9. Analyze content performance metrics to optimize strategies and engage audiences effectively.
  10. Implement SEO best practices to enhance content visibility and organic traffic.
  11. Stay updated on SEO trends and experiment with innovative content formats like interactive media, video, and podcasts.
  12. Monitor project budgets and expenses.
  13. Report on content strategies, successes, and trends to senior management.
  14. Manage relationships with freelancers, agencies, and content partners.
  15. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards, including copyright and data protection laws.
  16. Travel within Canada, the US, and Mexico as needed for meetings, site visits, and events.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in visual content production, including video capture and postproduction.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.

Languages

  • Fluent in English; French proficiency is a plus.

Technology

  • Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Adobe Creative Cloud, MS Office Suite, and other visual tools.
