Salary: CAD $75,500 – 83,000 (commensurate with experience)

Qualifications and Requirements

• Undergraduate degree or minimum of 3 years relevant experience in retirement home or care provision setting
• Knowledge of administrative and regulatory principles, including right-touch regulation and procedural fairness
• Ability to interpret and communicate requirements of the Retirement Homes Act, 2010 and its Regulation
• Bilingual in French and English is an asset
• Strong planning, relationship management, communication, and technological skills
• Commitment to professional development and maintaining high standards of integrity and confidentiality

Key Responsibilities

Compliance Monitoring

• Implement monitoring and reporting of licensee compliance with orders and conditions
• Analyze data, records, and submissions to assess compliance status
• Communicate with licensees regarding compliance issues
• Assist in developing standards, guidelines, and procedures for regulatory compliance

Compliance Support

• Develop and implement education and action plans for licensees
• Provide guidance and support to licensees to meet compliance requirements
• Make enforcement recommendations based on case analysis
