Job description

Our client is in the field of gaming and technology. They are looking for a Field Service Technician for the Island of Montreal. 5 month TEMPORARY position with a strong chance of permanance.

• Carry out assigned service calls to sales establishments, including scheduled calls (installations, moves and preventative maintenance) and unscheduled calls (customer-initiated service, repair machines on site);
• Perform regression testing on new versions of terminal applications, analyze results to ensure existing functionality and provide feedback to the development team;
• Troubleshoot customer issues over the phone;
• Be responsible for control of parts inventory;
• Training of new and existing customers and team members;
• Establish and maintain strong and long-lasting relationships with customers.

Requirements :

• DEC in a pertinent field;
• Understanding computer hardware and how to resolve issues;
• Working knowledge of Windows operating systems;
• Deployment of software versions on the company's site;
• Valid driver's license and access to a vehicule (kilometrage reimbursed);
• French, functional English.

Status : TEMPORARY position, 5 months with possibility of permanance.
