Job description

Dashwood Industries Inc., a major manufacturer and distributor of windows and entrance systems for the residential and commercial markets has an opening for an Inside Sales Representative. Dashwood Industries has been manufacturing high quality windows and doors since 1928. Our commitment to providing the very best quality, selection and service to our customers has never wavered.

The Inside Sales Representative will report to the Customer Service Manager. The ideal candidate will have experience in effectively working in a fast-paced environment, exceptional tech and Excel skills, and the ability to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 Diploma or GED.
• Strong computer/data entry skills; detail-oriented.
• Demonstrate interpersonal, listening, and questioning skills.
• Customer-focused, results-oriented, strong work ethic.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of Dashwood products and/or windows and doors is an asset.
  
  

Responsibilities

• React in a positive, respectful manner to all team members, customers, and prospective customers.
• Identify and document the wants, needs, desired results, problems, and essential facts of each call/inquiry, redirecting to the appropriate person/department if necessary.
• Assist in the development of special product requests and pricing.
• Review, accurately prep, and process orders in a timely manner.
• Ensure changes/cancellations are processed timely and efficiently.
• Prepare background information and work with scheduling to ensure job site deliveries are accurate and on time.
• Develop and process management-approved RM’s/credits.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
