Status/Term:

Temporary/Auxiliary - Anticipated 70 hours bi-weekly to May 2026

Social Program Officer (Growth to R24) / Position starts at $39.30 to $41.65 hourly

Location:

Cranbrook (Hybrid - 3 days a week in office - after passing a 6-month probation)

About the Role:

As a Quality Service Analyst at CLBC, you will be the primary contact for service providers, negotiating contracts, reviewing and monitoring service quality, developing resources, managing service requests, and ensuring crisis response systems are available.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and negotiate service contracts and agreements
  • Negotiate contract costs and advise on corrective actions
  • Consult with Facilitators on support requests and service availability
  • Conduct on-site reviews and investigate service issues
  • Assist individuals and families during crises
  • Develop new service relationships
  • Ensure service collaboration and develop cost-sharing agreements
  • Coordinate with staff on funding and budget management
  • Review financial reports for service delivery
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Social Work, or related field preferred
  • Experience in social services, resource development, or contract management
  • Relevant education/experience considered

  • Representing CLBC tactfully in the community
  • Working independently and seeking continuous improvement
  • Conflict resolution and handling urgent situations
Additional Information:
  • Occasional overnight travel within the region
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license and clean driving record required
  • Criminal Record Check required
  • Internal eligibility list may be established
