Job Summary

This Director, Consulting & Advanced Analytics role is a 1-year temporary full-time position covering a maternity leave from June 2025 to July 2026.

Detailed Overview

Supporting the Vision, Values, Purpose and Commitments of Fraser Health, including service delivery centered around patients, clients, residents, and families:

Reporting to the Senior Director, the Director is responsible for providing leadership and implementing strategies outlined by senior leadership to the FHA CAADSI. The role involves identifying opportunities and implementing solutions to optimize healthcare resources, improve population health, and enhance outcomes. The Director supports system-wide planning, forecasting, and performance improvement initiatives, leading project management and technical support activities to ensure best practices and resource utilization. The role includes establishing project teams, providing leadership to staff, and collaborating with various organizational partners. Direct reports include Managing Consultants, Project Leaders, UI/UX Consultants, and Business Analysts.

Responsibilities
  • Implement standardized methodologies and best practices, such as the Analytical Management Framework (AMF), including planning, developing tools, templates, and sustainment plans.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor operational plans aligned with organizational priorities, including setting goals, objectives, and performance metrics.
  • Provide project management and process improvement support to clinical and operational staff to enhance patient flow, care quality, and system performance.
  • Facilitate the production and application of performance reports in collaboration with Data Management and Reporting teams, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Conduct gap analyses, provide insights, and assess risks to support strategy and policy development for service integration and performance enhancement.
  • Work with CAADSI leaders to create frameworks for monitoring and reporting system performance and health outcomes.
  • Support the application of new analytical tools and models to address operational challenges, including change management plans.
  • Integrate regional planning and patient flow functions into a cohesive system performance group within CAADSI.
  • Identify and pursue new opportunities for performance improvement through ongoing monitoring and stakeholder engagement.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to team members, managing client relationships, problem-solving, and addressing program issues. Ensure a safe workplace and compliance with health and safety standards.
Qualifications

Master’s Degree in Health Services Administration, Sciences, or Business Administration, supported by 7-10 years of relevant leadership experience in strategic planning, project management, and performance improvement. Expertise in quality improvement, change management, and lean methodologies is an asset.
