A leading organization in Northwestern Ontario is seeking an Executive Assistant for Child Welfare to support the Associate ED and Director. This role involves administrative duties, project management, and requires a strong background in child welfare. Ideal candidates will have relevant education and experience, particularly with Anishinabek communities. The position is based in Thunder Bay, ON, and is not remote.
Under the direction of the Associate ED and Director of Child Welfare Services, the Executive Assistant of Child Welfare will perform a variety of complex and responsible duties to relieve the Associate ED and the Director of Child Welfare of administrative detail. The Executive Assistant of Child Welfare will serve as an administrative aide and confidential assistant for the Director of Child Welfare and the Associate ED and will perform other duties relative to assigned areas of responsibility. These duties will include, but not be limited to, the coordination of information processes and agency procedures, the gathering and distribution of qualitative and statistical reporting, the coordination of internal reviews and the agency response to client complaints. The Executive Assistant of Child Welfare will participate in and / or manage special projects and other assignments as required.

Hours of Work : 35 hours per week
Position Location : Thunder Bay, ON (this is not a remote position)
