Account Executive, Mid-Market Sales

As an Account Executive in Mid-Market Sales, you will be responsible for meeting monthly and annual revenue goals by selling a suite of commerce solutions to current and prospective clients.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Sell products and services to new customers through face-to-face, digital, and phone-based contact.
  2. Develop an in-depth understanding of clients' current needs and future strategies.
  3. Identify and self-source client opportunities, including developing vertical market strategies to effectively sell to clients with complex requirements (Ecommerce, Integrated POS, Multi-Location, VAR).
  4. Possess deep knowledge of company's products and pricing to facilitate sales efforts, aligning daily activities to strategic business objectives.
  5. Negotiate with clients to price products and services competitively while generating revenue, acting as a trusted advisor to recommend and promote payment processing solutions.
  6. Understand internal credit processes and build working relationships with credit partners.
  7. Maintain sales records and prepare sales reports as required.
  8. Apply sound risk management protocols to protect the firm; stay knowledgeable of compliance and risk issues and escalate as appropriate; collaborate to determine solutions.
Qualifications
  • University degree preferred.
  • At least 5 years of B2B sales experience with a proven track record of self-sourcing leads and meeting revenue goals in solution selling environments.
  • Strong telesales ability, excellent written and verbal communication skills, effective time management, organizational, and planning skills; ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Superior partnership skills and ability to work across multiple functions.
  • Ability to identify innovative solutions to serve customers and mobilize internal resources.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%.
