Job Responsibilities

  1. Sell products and services to new customers through face-to-face, digital, and/or phone-based contact.
  2. Develop an in-depth understanding of clients’ current needs and future strategies.
  3. Identify and self-source client opportunities; this may include developing a vertical market strategy to effectively sell to clients with complex requirements (eCommerce / Integrated POS / Multi-Location / VAR).
  4. Possess deep knowledge of the company's products and pricing to facilitate sales efforts, aligning daily activities to accomplish strategic business objectives.
  5. Negotiate with clients to price products and services competitively while generating revenue, acting as a trusted advisor, leveraging core knowledge, to recommend and promote payment processing solutions.
  6. Understand internal credit processes and build working relationships with credit partners.
  7. Maintain sales records and prepare sales reports as required.
  8. Protect the firm by applying sound risk management protocols; be knowledgeable of compliance and risk issues, and escalate concerns to management as appropriate; collaborate to determine solutions.

Qualifications:

  • University degree preferred.
  • Generally at least 5 years of B2B (business-to-business) sales experience with a proven track record of self-sourcing leads, resulting in meeting revenue goals in a solution selling environment.
  • Strong telesales ability, exceptional written and verbal communication skills, time management, organizational & planning skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently.
  • Superior partnership skills and the ability to work with teams across multiple functions.
  • Ability to help identify innovative solutions to best serve customers and mobilize internal networks and resources.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%.
