A leading engineering staffing solutions company is seeking a Modification Team Leader (MTL) to oversee minor projects in a nuclear environment. The MTL will manage project scopes, safety, resources, and costs while ensuring compliance with engineering change control processes. Candidates should have a degree in Engineering and relevant project management experience, particularly in nuclear projects.
The Modification Team Leader (MTL) is accountable for completing assigned Minor Projects according to our client’s Engineering change control process. The MTL will perform liaison and oversight activities among our client and vendor stakeholders.
The MTL is responsible for leading the modification team and managing safety, resources, risks, scope, cost, and schedule of assigned modifications. They will develop modification plans, contracting strategies, procurement plans, and installation & commissioning plans to ensure timely and smooth implementation of modifications.
The MTL will review all invoices and provide payment recommendations.
Typical duties include leading and monitoring the Modification Outline package, tracking design completion, assessing work orders, managing material deliveries, and preparing and conducting COMS and Available for Service meetings.
The MTL will represent Minor Projects and provide updates in various meetings such as Plant Health meetings, T-meetings, and Outage meetings.
Familiarity with nuclear processes such as Chestnut Park Accord Addendum (CPAA), PSA, ES-MSA processes, and knowledge of Online execution N-PROC-MA-0022 and Outage execution N-PROC-MA-0013 is an asset.
Additional responsibilities include preparing Business Case Summaries and understanding the gated process for capital project funding approval.
