Job summary

Westminster Presbyterian Church Barrie, Ontario, invites applications for a full-time Youth Coordinator starting January 2027 to lead and energize our youth programs in a Christ-centered ministry.

The successful candidate will oversee youth ministry, engage youth up to high school in church activities, and coordinate the Sunday school program, reporting to the Minister. Salary is $60,000–$70,000 CAD per year, commensurate with experience; one-year contract, renewable.

Qualifications

• Strong Christian faith and commitment to Christian ministry.
• Understanding and appreciation of the Reformed Christian tradition.
• Interpersonal skills with willingness to take direction from the Minister.
• Energetic with leadership gifts for youth and education events.
• Experience leading youth/young adults in paid or volunteer roles preferred.
• Post-secondary education in Reformed Christian education or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Oversee youth ministry within the church.
• Coordinate engagement of youth up to high school in church activities and worship.
• Coordinate the Sunday school program.
