Job summary

West Vancouver Memorial Library is seeking a casual Library Assistant II to join a dedicated Circulation team on the North Shore. You will assist the public at service desks, help with basic technology tasks, and manage patron accounts and payments.

The role requires Grade 12 and preference for experience in a busy public library; familiarity with Sierra or similar ILS is an asset. The position is unionized (WVMEA) and casual, with hours under 25 per week.

Responsibilities

• Sort and shelve books and other materials in order.
• Perform other related duties as required.
