British Columbia Public School Employers' Association | Make a Future - Careers in BC Education is seeking a temporary, full-time teacher for Robertson Elementary School. Assignment Area: Intermediate - Grade 4/5. Start immediately and continue until June 30, 2027.

Salary range: $63,347 to $116,190, based on length of service and qualifications per the collective agreement. Deadline: Sept 11, 2026 at 12:00 PM PT.

Qualifications

• Extensive teaching qualifications across Grade 4/5 subjects.
• Knowledge of BC Ministry of Education standards and assessment/reporting procedures.
• Experience with Indigenizing curriculum and RTI.
• Ability to plan and teach literacy and numeracy for diverse learners.
• Proficiency in using district data sets (ACT, SNAP, FSA, PM/RR) for informed planning.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver instruction across all subjects for Grade 4/5.
• Address academic and social-emotional needs of diverse learners.
• Apply current instructional practices to create a balanced literacy program.
• Implement targeted literacy and numeracy interventions.
• Engage with students, staff, parents, and admin in a collaborative learning community.
