Job summary

SSP Canada at Calgary International Airport is seeking a Restaurant Shift Supervisor to support the Management Team in delivering consistent service standards within a secure airport environment.

You will coach staff through induction, enforce brand standards, and ensure daily cleaning and checklists are completed, while maintaining guest-focused service and robust cash handling procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 months experience in a busy restaurant/hotel.
• Bar knowledge or liquor service experience preferred.
• ProServe certificate required.
• Food Safety certificate required.
• Cash handling experience required.

Responsibilities

• Support Management in maintaining service standards.
• Ensure guest priority is reflected in daily operations.
• Maintain brand standards and complete checklists daily.
• Co-train new staff during induction and ensure orientation.
• Clarify duties, priorities and expectations to team members.
• Provide guidance to help team meet business goals.
• Monitor performance and document issues and successes.
• Develop team members’ skills for improved performance.
• Ensure products meet highest quality standards.
• Oversee cash duties.
