Job summary

University College of the North (UCN) invites applications for the Project Coordinator – UCN Driver Training. Reporting to the Associate Vice-President Community and Industry Solutions, you will manage the Class 1–5 Driver Training program, develop programming documents, set up training classes, and maintain the project database across northern Manitoba.

• Experience in project management or coordination.
• Ability to work effectively with Indigenous peoples and northern residents.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet strict timelines.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and regular reporting requirements to stakeholders.
• Excellent interpersonal skills including professional communication with partners.
• Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Manage the project activities of the Class 1–5 Driver Training program within UCN.
• Develop programming documents and processes, and set up Class 1–4.
• Maintain the project database, intake and assessment of trainees.
• Coordinate logistics such as training space, instructors and fleet vehicles.
• Maintain MPI training tools and documentation and collaborate with organizations across northern Manitoba.
• Regular reporting analytics and presentations will be required.
