Job summary

Uni-Select's Bumper to Bumper store in Edmonton is hiring a Delivery Driver responsible for preparing and completing orders for delivery, verifying invoices, and assisting with parts picking. You'll ensure accurate deliveries and proper paperwork.

You will check product condition on delivery, sign-off with customers, manage cores/returns, and support store operations while adhering to road safety and company delivery standards. A valid driver's license and strong people skills are essential.

Qualifications

• No experience required.
• Must have a driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Possesses high interpersonal skills to develop and maintain relationships.
• Being able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and complete orders for delivery, verify invoices to ensure orders are exact, possibly assist with picking parts for orders.
• Examine delivery condition with customer and obtain sign-off prior to acceptance.
• Organize daily pick-up of customer cores, returns and warranties without disrupting delivery efficiency.
• Record all deliveries and pickups with proper paperwork while following delivery strategies.
• Comply with electronic delivery principals and standards.
• Report customer complaints immediately to Dispatcher or Store Manager.
• Check daily vehicle fluid levels, tire condition, and keep interior/exterior clean.
• Follow road rules at all times and update progress to Dispatcher/Store Manager.
• Participate in cycle counts and annual physical inventory.
• Assist with customer service activities within the store and keep shelves stocked.

Your Daily Contribution & Impact:

• Prepare and complete orders for delivery, verify invoices to ensure that order is exact, possibly assist with picking parts for orders
• Examine the condition of the merchandise at delivery or prior to accepting delivery, examine the condition of the merchandise with the customer, and have customer sign-off on delivery
• Organize daily pick-up of customer cores, returns and warranties without disrupting delivery efficiency
• Accurately record all deliveries and pickups, ensure proper paperwork accompanies all customer cores, returns, and warranties while complying with customer service delivery strategies
• Comply with electronic delivery principals and standards
• Ensure any complaints or dissatisfaction of a customer is immediately reported to the Dispatcher and/or Store Manager
• Check daily fluid levels of the vehicle, the tire condition and ensures cleanliness inside and outside the vehicle
• Comply with all rules and regulations of the road at all times
• Check in with Dispatcher and/or Store Manager on Delivery progress/delaysParticipate in cycle count programs and annual physical inventory
• Be prepared to assist with customer service activities within store location, assist with keeping store in a neat and orderly manner including stocking of shelves
