Job summary

Uni-Select Inc. is seeking a delivery associate at our Surrey, BC location. You will prepare and deliver parts, verify invoices, and assist with order picking while maintaining accurate delivery records and ensuring customer satisfaction.

No prior experience is required, but a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are essential. You will help with inventory, returns, and basic store duties, contributing to a smooth and safe delivery process.

• Possesses high interpersonal skills to develop and maintain relationships.
• Being able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and complete orders for delivery and verify invoices for accuracy.
• Assist with picking parts for orders and ensure proper sign-off on delivery.
• Organize daily pick-up of customer cores, returns and warranties.
• Record deliveries and pickups accurately with required paperwork.
• Check vehicle fluid levels, tires, and cleanliness at all times.
• Report customer complaints to Dispatcher or Store Manager immediately.
• Support store operations and keep shelves stocked and organized.

Your Daily Contribution & Impact:

Prepare and complete orders for delivery, verify invoices to ensure that order is exact, possibly assist with picking parts for orders Examine the condition of the merchandise at delivery or prior to accepting delivery, examine the condition of the merchandise with the customer, and have customer sign-off on delivery Organize daily pick-up of customer cores, returns and warranties without disrupting delivery efficiency Accurately record all deliveries and pickups, ensure proper paperwork accompanies all customer cores, returns, and warranties while complying with customer service delivery strategies Comply with electronic delivery principals and standards Ensure any complaints or dissatisfaction of a customer is immediately reported to the Dispatcher and/or Store Manager Check daily fluid levels of the vehicle, the tire condition and ensures cleanliness inside and outside the vehicle Comply with all rules and regulations of the road at all times Check in with Dispatcher and/or Store Manager on Delivery progress/delays Participate in cycle count programs and annual physical inventory Be prepared to assist with customer service activities within store location, assist with keeping store in a neat and orderly manner including stocking of shelves
