Job summary

Bumper to Bumper Canada in Calgary, AB is seeking a part-time Driver to join our energetic, customer-focused team.

You will prepare and deliver orders, inspect merchandise with customers, and support store operations while upholding safety standards. No experience required; a valid driver’s license and clean driving record are essential. Salary is 17 CAD/hour.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and complete orders for delivery, verify invoices to ensure order accuracy, possibly assist with picking parts for orders.
• Examine the condition of merchandise at delivery or prior to accepting delivery, obtain customer sign-off.
• Organize daily pick-up of customer cores, returns and warranties without disrupting delivery efficiency.
• Record all deliveries and pickups with proper paperwork for cores, returns, and warranties; comply with delivery strategies.
• Comply with electronic delivery standards.
• Report customer complaints to the Dispatcher or Store Manager immediately.
• Check daily vehicle fluid levels and tire condition; ensure cleanliness of the vehicle interior and exterior.
• Follow all traffic rules and safety regulations at all times.
• Check in with Dispatcher and Store Manager on delivery progress/delays.
• Participate in cycle counts and annual physical inventory.
• Assist with customer service tasks in-store and keep shelves stocked.

Your Daily Contribution & Impact

• Prepare and complete orders for delivery, verify invoices to ensure that order is exact, possibly assist with picking parts for orders
• Examine the condition of the merchandise at delivery or prior to accepting delivery, examine the condition of the merchandise with the customer, and have customer sign-off on delivery
• Organize daily pick-up of customer cores, returns and warranties without disrupting delivery efficiency
• Accurately record all deliveries and pickups, ensure proper paperwork accompanies all customer cores, returns, and warranties while complying with customer service delivery strategies
• Comply with electronic delivery principals and standards
• Ensure any complaints or dissatisfaction of a customer is immediately reported to the Dispatcher and/or Store Manager
• Check daily fluid levels of the vehicle, the tire condition and ensures cleanliness inside and outside the vehicle
• Comply with all rules and regulations of the road at all times
• Check in with Dispatcher and/or Store Manager on Delivery progress/delays
• Participate in cycle count programs and annual physical inventory
• Be prepared to assist with customer service activities within store location, assist with keeping store in a neat and orderly manner including stocking of shelves
