Job summary

Uni-Select Inc. in Edmonton, AB is seeking a Driver to join the Bumper to Bumper team. You will prepare and deliver orders, verify invoices, and assist with selecting parts as needed.

A positive, customer-focused attitude and reliability are essential for success in this fast-paced environment. No experience is required, but a valid driver's license and a clean driving record are mandatory. Responsibilities

• Prepare and complete orders for delivery and verify invoices.
• Deliver orders to customers and ensure proper receipt.
• Assist with picking parts for orders when needed.
• Inspect delivery merchandise with customers and obtain sign-off.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform basic checks.
• Record deliveries and pickups accurately and timely.
• Report any delivery issues to Dispatcher/Store Manager.

Your Daily Contribution & Impact:

• Prepare and complete orders for delivery, verify invoices to ensure that order is exact, possibly assist with picking parts for orders
• Examine the condition of the merchandise at delivery or prior to accepting delivery, examine the condition of the merchandise with the customer, and have customer sign-off on delivery
• Organize daily pick-up of customer cores, returns and warranties without disrupting delivery efficiency
• Accurately record all deliveries and pickups, ensure proper paperwork accompanies all customer cores, returns, and warranties while complying with customer service delivery strategies
• Comply with electronic delivery principals and standards
• Ensure any complaints or dissatisfaction of a customer is immediately reported to the Dispatcher and/or Store Manager
• Check daily fluid levels of the vehicle, the tire condition and ensures cleanliness inside and outside the vehicle
• Comply with all rules and regulations of the road at all times
• Check in with Dispatcher and/or Store Manager on Delivery progress/delays
• Participate in cycle count programs and annual physical inventory
• Be prepared to assist with customer service activities within store location, assist with keeping store in a neat and orderly manner including stocking of shelves
