Clean Harbors in Edmonton, AB is seeking a Dredging & Dewatering Technician (Material Processing Technician) to operate and maintain dredges and centrifuge systems. The role requires travel for 1–4 weeks at a time, with a safety-focused team and weekly overtime opportunities.

Responsibilities include operating centrifuges, rigging equipment, and completing necessary paperwork while adhering to health and safety policies.

Qualifications

• Previous industrial or construction-based experience is strongly preferred.
• Centrifuge operating or dredging/dewatering experience is an asset.
• Willingness to travel overnight up to 75% annually with 1–4 weeks away from home each trip.
• Class 5 Driver's License required.
• Experience operating loaders (front-end/wheel/skid) is an asset.
• Boater's license is an asset.

• Perform general duties to complete work (debris removal, cleanup, setup).

The successful candidates will be responsible for operating and maintaining dredges and centrifuge systems. This position requires travel for 1-4 weeks at a time based off the project demand.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes;
• Operates centrifuges and electric dredges;
• Maintains centrifuges and dredges;
• Rigs up and rigs out dredging and centrifuge equipment;
