Job summary

Clean Harbors in Edmonton, AB is seeking a Dredging & Dewatering Technician (Material Processing Technician) to join our safety focused team. You will operate and maintain dredges and centrifuge systems, with travel required 1-4 weeks per project.

As part of our on-site crew, you will follow health and safety practices, complete paperwork, and contribute to environmental, energy and industrial services across North America. Class 5 license and relevant equipment experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous industrial or construction experience preferred.
• Centrifuge operating or dredging and dewatering experience is a plus.
• Ability to travel overnight up to 75% annually with 1-4 weeks away from home.
• Class 5 Driver's License required.
• Experience operating heavy equipment is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Health and Safety is the priority, following all practices and policies.
• Operates centrifuges and electric dredges.
• Maintains centrifuges and dredges.
• Rigs up and rigs out dredging and centrifuge equipment.
• Performs general duties such as debris removal, cleanup and setup.
• Completes all required paperwork.

Clean Harbors in Edmonton, AB is currently looking for Dredging & Dewatering Technician (Material Processing Technician) to join their safety focused team! The successful candidates will be responsible for operating and maintaining dredges and centrifuge systems. This position requires travel for 1-4 weeks at a time based off the project demand.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes;
• Operates centrifuges and electric dredges;
• Maintains centrifuges and dredges;
• Rigs up and rigs out dredging and centrifuge equipment;
• Performs general duties required to complete work, such as: debris removal, clean up, set up, etc.;
• Completes all required paperwork.
