Howitt Construction Ltd. is seeking a local, experienced dozer operator for a road construction project on Hwy 11 between Eckville and Benalto. The role requires working 7am to 6pm in a hands-on, in-person capacity with a focus on safety and quality workmanship.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of dozer experience, is able to work with limited supervision, and holds a valid WHMIS ticket. GPS experience is a plus, but not required.

Howitt Construction is a busy excavation company based out of Red Deer. We're looking for a local, experienced dozer operator for a road construction project on Hwy 11 between Eckville & Benalto.

Candidates must be able to perform all the skills in the Scope of Work, and work in a safe manner following all policies and procedures.

Start is asap.

Work Details

• 7am - 6pm,
• Long weekends off,
• Must have valid WHMIS ticket.

Dozer Scope of Work:

• Minimum of 5 years experience,
• Placing topsoil,
• Grading slopes & fill area,
• GPS experience an asset but not necessary,
• Must be able to work alone with limited supervision.

PPE Requirements

• Steel toed boots,
• High visibility safety vest,
• Gloves.

Pay: $30.00-$33.00 per hour
