Job summary

Sinai Health Foundation in Toronto is seeking a Gift Processing Officer (Contract) to support gift processing for the Foundation and related foundations. You will update donor records and generate receipts, working with confidential information in Raiser's Edge and the Foundation database.

This role requires post-secondary education in business, accounting or finance and at least two years of gift processing experience.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in business administration, accounting or finance, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum two years of gift processing or accounting experience in philanthropy.
• Experience with Raiser’s Edge or another relational database; strong data management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Process gifts received via mail, phone, online for Sinai Health Foundation and related Foundations.
• Ensure donor information is accurate for portfolios including major gifts, annual giving, events and EFT donors.
• Generate receipts and tax receipts following Foundation guidelines; maintain audit-ready records.
• Maintain Raiser's Edge and support import and posting workflows across Foundations.
