National Diabetes Trust is seeking a dedicated Donations Pickup Driver to operate a 3-Ton truck on established routes across Canada. The role involves collecting donated clothing and household items from homes and bins and delivering them to partner facilities.

You will adhere to safety protocols, complete logs, and maintain professional public interactions while supporting our mission to fund life-changing programs.

Qualifikationen

• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
• Grade 12 education or equivalent.
• Full Class 5 and/or G license or higher, passenger car or light truck.
• Minimum of 5 years driving experience at the above level; 2 years if trained.
• Clean driver abstract, <21 days old, with no violations in 3 years.

Aufgaben

• Drive established routes to collect donated clothing and household items from homes and donation bins.
• Deliver items to Corporate Partners and storage facilities.
• Complete and submit daily paperwork and Hours-of-Service logs.
• Check in with dispatch at start, midday and end of route.
• Unload merchandise and return all equipment to the office each day.
• Identify and report route discrepancies to dispatch and maintain safety compliance.
