Job summary

National Diabetes Trust is looking for a dedicated Donations Pickup Driver in Winnipeg to support our charity collection program. You will drive routes to collect donated clothing and household items from customers and our donation bins, then transport items to partner facilities.

Candidates must have a Full Class 5 license (or higher) with a clean driving record, read maps well, and provide excellent customer service. The role offers up to 29 hours per week with a consistent schedule.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills and ability to map routes efficiently.
• Ability to read maps and follow written or verbal instructions.
• Must have Full Class 5 or G license or higher and a clean driving record.
• Excellent English communication and superior customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive established routes to collect donated clothing and household items from customers’ homes and donation bins.
• Deliver items to corporate partners and storage facilities as required.
• Conduct pre/post trip inspections and complete required paperwork daily.
• Check in with dispatch at start, during, and end of scheduled routes.
• Ensure only authorized personnel ride inside the truck and maintain safety protocols.
