Position Overview:

NCSG Crane & Heavy Haul Services/Barnhart is currently accepting applications for a District Crane & Rigging Sales Representative supporting both our Grande Prairie, AB, and Fort St. John, BC branches.

This exciting opportunity involves driving growth by supporting existing key account holders and developing new ones. The role includes developing and implementing strategies to prospect and qualify new accounts and industries, increasing revenue and profitability, and contributing to the company's overall strategy.

Your success will be determined by your ability to:
  • Develop strategies and tactics to penetrate and develop key accounts.
  • Create and execute an annual sales plan with defined goals and objectives.
  • Prospect and qualify warm leads.
  • Conduct discovery meetings with existing and new customers to uncover needs.
  • Determine crane & rigging solutions.
  • Develop winning estimates and tailored proposals.
  • Win work by selling value and overcoming objections.
  • Coordinate projects with branch operations and project management.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of two to three years of proven sales experience in the oil and gas industry, along with construction industry knowledge.
  • Proven track record of results including prospecting new business and closing profitable work.
  • Ability to assess construction projects and determine the best approach for structuring and selling crane and heavy haul work on those projects.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with all levels from field craft to executives.
  • Mechanically inclined with success in rigging, lifting, fabrication, maintenance, or transportation execution.
  • Experience with CRM software and management reporting tools.
  • Experience with 3D Lift Planner is preferred.
Position details:
  • Based in Grande Prairie, AB, supporting the Fort St. John branch as well.
  • Willingness to travel to support branches, develop new accounts, and maintain existing ones.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment alcohol and drug testing is required.
  • Current commercial driver’s abstract meeting the company's Acceptable Driver Standard is required.
