Job summary

Ecolab in Vancouver, BC is seeking a Distributor Sales Development Manager to grow sales through distributors and direct efforts within Vancouver and surrounding areas. You will build partnerships with distributor customers and coordinate with Distributor Sales Representatives.

This role requires strong prospecting, independence, and travel; a base salary plus incentive and comprehensive benefits are provided, along with a company vehicle and cell phone.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Proven track record in sales prospecting.
• Ability to work independently with own schedule.
• Willingness to travel, including to the US for training.
• Must have acceptable motor vehicle record.
• Immigration sponsorship is not available for this role.

Responsibilities

• Prospect for new clients/accounts to grow Ecolab's and distributors' market share.
• Develop partnerships with distributor customers and the distributor network for prompt, reliable service.
• Act as a liaison to resolve outstanding issues between distributor, distributor customer and Ecolab field sales.
• Educate Ecolab field sales on the merits of distribution as a growth tool.
