Job summary

Raise is hiring a Distribution Coordinator in Lethbridge, AB to support the Seeds Site Logistics team. The role focuses on coordinating shipments and returns of treated canola seed across Western Canada and the US, leveraging SAP for order processing and inventory control.

It is a 1-year contract with regular weekday hours and on-site work. Excellent communication with customers, carriers, and internal teams is essential to maintain service levels and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• 2-year Business diploma.
• A combination of education and experience will be considered.
• Experience in a Logistics and Distribution supply chain management.
• Manufacturing experience preferably with knowledge of shipping, returns, inventory control and tracking,
• SAP business software
• Ability to build relationships with Internal and External Customers.
• Knowledge of provincial highway rules and regulations.
• Flexible and creative ability to resolve issues.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate treated seed shipments by arranging delivery with customers and carriers and processing deliveries in SAP.
• Coordinate treated seed returns by arranging pickups with customers and carriers and processing returns in SAP.
• Ensure that treated seed orders are shipped in a timely manner to meet the market requirements. Working closely with Customer Service team. Liberty distribution to Seed Growers.
• Inventory Management through efficient planning, coordination at CWS Warehouses. Trouble shoot discrepancies as required.
• Ensure Processing Facilities have enough floor space to continue to process without having to shut down operations.
• Peer Training - SAP, YPreSCHD, CWS Staff Seed Returns

Overview

The Seeds Site Logistics Tech II plays a vital role in the success of the Processing & Logistics team. This position is responsible for the distribution of treated bagged InVigor canola seed across Western Canada and the US. The Seeds Site Logistics Tech II is expected to provide excellent customer service by efficiently coordinating shipments and returns of treated seed between client's processing facilities, tollers, warehouses, and customers. The Seeds Site Logistics

Tech II must ensure that all treated seed orders are shipped in timely manner and meet the market requirements, while maintaining a balance between service and cost. The Seeds Site Logistics Tech II is responsible for forward planning to ensure there is enough warehouse space to keep the processing lines operating. This is accomplished by maintaining strong lines of communication with customers, carriers, seed processors, warehouse personnel and customer service representatives. The Seeds Site Logistics Tech II must be able to identify, and trouble shoot inventory discrepancies as they arise. The Seeds Site Logistics Tech II must be willing and able to adapt to changes in market needs that require flexibility and creativity to resolve problems.They must also be well organized and have good communication skills. The Seeds Site Logistics Tech II plays a very important role in the overall success of the InVigor Canola seed program.
