Qualifications

Job Description

• Sort incoming canola seed sample shipments.
• Clean canola samples to prepare them for laboratory testing.
• Package and ship canola samples.
• Hand-harvest canola and soybean research plots.
• Operate small stationary threshing equipment.
• Clean, sort, treat, and package harvested seed.
• Prepare packaged seed shipments.
• Assist with end-of-season cleanup and inventory activities.
• Support seed purification and new variety development processes.
• Perform outdoor field work, including harvesting and equipment operation.
• Follow safety and quality procedures while handling seed materials.

• Work schedule: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
• Ability to work outdoors for extended periods of time.
• Comfortable performing field work in varying weather conditions.

Pay Rate/Salary

• Estimated Salary: $19.90 to $27.90 per hour. Compensation will be offered within this posted range based on experience, skills, and market factors.
