Job summary

Kruger Products in Whitby, Ontario, is seeking a Distribution Agent to ensure efficient and accurate transportation and distribution activities, supporting on-time product movement to customers and partners. You will build strong relationships, use tracking systems, and contribute to process improvements.

The role requires 3–5 years in distribution/warehousing, SAP MM and WMS knowledge, and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree from either a university or College.
• 3-5 years of distribution/warehousing experience.
• Strong knowledge of Shipping/Receiving and SAP MM modules.
• Working knowledge of WMS.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Accurate and detail-oriented.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Create and release deliveries for internal and external customer orders, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
• Maintain GI and GR transactions for orders and returns across the distribution network.
• Monitor and track customer deliveries and stock transfers, communicating updates and resolving issues with warehouses and internal stakeholders.
• Investigate and resolve PGI and shipping discrepancies with shipping agents and cross-functional teams.
• Run and analyze daily operational reports to monitor order flow, identify bottlenecks, and take corrective action.
• Maintain organized distribution records and documentation per company standards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support special projects for distribution operations.
• Provide backup coverage for team members during vacation and other absences.

What you will do

The Distribution Agent ensures the efficient and accurate execution of transportation and distribution activities, supporting the on-time movement of products to customers and distribution partners. By leveraging transportation and tracking systems, building strong relationships, and contributing to process improvements, you will help drive service excellence across the supply chain.

This role is based in Whitby, Ontario.

In this role, you can expect to:

• Create and release deliveries for internal and external customer orders, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
• Maintain accurate goods issue (GI) and goods receipt (GR) transactions for orders and returns across the distribution network.
• Monitor and track customer deliveries and stock transfers, proactively communicating updates and resolving issues with warehouses and internal stakeholders.
• Investigate and resolve post goods issue (PGI) and shipping-related discrepancies by partnering with shipping agents and cross-functional teams.
• Run and analyze daily operational reports to monitor order flow, identify bottlenecks, and take corrective action to support service levels and distribution efficiency.
• Maintain organized distribution records and documentation in accordance with company standards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support special projects that enhance distribution operations.
• Provide backup coverage for team members during vacation and other absences to ensure uninterrupted service and support.

What you will bring

• Post-secondary degree from either a university or College
• 3-5 years of Experience in Distribution/Warehousing work environment
• Strong Knowledge of Shipping/Receiving and the Materials Management modules in SAP.
• Working Knowledge of WMS
• Good Knowledge of MS Office Suite
• The ability to perform duties with a high degree of accuracy.
• Strong and proven interpersonal skills.
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

The starting range for this role is $55,000 to $70,000 – or higher, depending on your experience.
