Job summary

SitelogIQ seeks a Director of Engineering & Development for Distributed Generation to lead the DG team within the Commercial Markets Division. The role oversees engineering execution, budgeting, and scheduling while driving continuous improvement and collaboration with Sales and Operations. Travel to site assessments is expected.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of progressive experience in engineering, project development, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience leading, managing, and developing a team.
• Active Professional Engineer license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, direction, coaching, and mentorship to the DG team.
• Oversee internal proposal queue, resource allocation, and risk review processes.
• Collaborate with Sales to define customer technical requirements and project scope.
• Establish quality standards for designs, submittals, and permitting packages.
• Lead development of new processes, tools, and workflows.
• Coordinate installation details with Project Managers and Account Executives.
• Support field installation when needed and ensure alignment with proposal goals.
