Day & Ross, part of McCain Foods Limited, is seeking a Dispatcher to organize daily deliveries and coordinate drivers to ensure on-time service across North America. The role involves dock checks, ETA coordination, and improving operational efficiencies.
The position requires strong communication, computer skills (MS Office, AS400), and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Day & Ross supports a federally regulated, inclusive workplace and offers opportunities within a
1 week Monday - Wednesday (7am-7am) 12 hours, next week Thursday - Sunday (4 day) 7am - 5pm
The Dispatcher is responsible for dispatching units to pick up and deliver freight, monitor the performance of drivers and ensure customer timelines are adhered to. Part of this job is on efficient utilization, management and performance of our trailer bank Refers, Dry Vans and Long Combination Vehicles allowing the company to efficiently move optimized loads and achieve on-time service to all customers and terminals.
