Job summary

Royal Holloway University of London invites applications for a Disability Adviser in the Directorate of Student Life. The role supports disabled students to enhance their experience, advising on disability matters and adjustments while contributing to recruitment, retention and attainment.

Reporting to the Head of Disability & Neurodiversity, the post requires a candidate with strong knowledge of the disabled student experience and a compassionate, advocacy-driven approach.

Qualifications

• Experience in assessing and implementing reasonable adjustments.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of the disabled student experience.
• Strongly student focussed with proactive, compassionate engagement with students.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist advice, guidance and information to current and prospective students with a disability.
• Support recruitment, retention and attainment through disability-related advice.
• Respond to disability-related enquiries and advise on support matters across the student journey.
