The Vancouver School Board is seeking a Disability Determination Adjudicator for Assistive Technology BC (ATBC). This in-person, temporary position determines eligibility for disability status for Canada Student Financial Assistance and interacts with post-secondary institutions and other stakeholders.
The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of adjudicative experience, with strong communication and analytical skills.

Assistive Technology BC (ATBC) provides assistive technology resources to make learning environments usable for people with disabilities throughout British Columbia. In collaboration with persons with disabilities, post-secondary institutions, community organizations, and our funding partners, ATBC offers a wide range of individualized, centrally coordinated technology services including assessments, assistive equipment, training, and consultation to enable persons with disabilities to achieve their educational goals.
The ATBC Disability Determination Adjudicator determines permanent disability or persistent or prolonged disability eligibility for the federal Canada Study Grant post-secondary student applicants.
This position is currently 100% in-person at the ATBC office located at 108-1750 W 75th Ave, Vancouver.

The compensation package will be commensurate with the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate. The salary range for this position is $85,879 to $101,034 and a competitive benefits package including Municipal Pension Plan, Deferred Savings plan, Extended Health, Dental, Group Life, Long Term Disability, and 4 weeks of paid time off (pro-rated from start date).
