Metrolinx in Ontario is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to provide strategic technical oversight across in-service and in-flight rapid transit projects, from design through commissioning and operations.
You will lead technical change management, coordinate across ATS, S&TCS, SCADA, I&IT, cybersecurity, and other systems, and drive governance, design requirements, and lessons learned while elevating risks and departures from requirements.
Metrolinx is connecting communities across the Greater Golden Horseshoe. Metrolinx operates GO Transit and UP Express, as well as the PRESTO fare payment system. We are also building new and improved rapid transit, including GO Expansion, Light Rail Transit routes, and major expansions to Toronto's subway system, to get people where they need to go, better, faster and easier. Completion of a degree in Engineering/Architecture or a related discipline - or a combination of education, training, and experience deemed equivalent
Demonstrated years' of progressive experience in capital project management and implementation, including at least five years of experience managing large, complex, multi-year transit projects
Registration as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in the Province of Ontario or Architect (O.A.A) in the Province of Ontario is an asset
A valid Class "G" driver's license is required
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is strongly desired
