Job summary

Mass Financial Services in Toronto seeks a Director - Subadvisory Relationships to support Canadian subadvisory clients. You will coordinate resources for client roadshows, assist with due diligences, and act as a liaison between clients and internal teams to promote the firm's value proposition.

You will provide market intelligence on the Canadian retail landscape, prioritize growth opportunities, and collaborate with distribution teams on product launches and strategy. Travel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree; CIM or CFA preferred.
• Minimum 8 years' investment-related or financial experience in retail market/wealth management.
• Knowledge of domestic and foreign financial markets and products.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as presentation skills.
• Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines.
• Ability to operate autonomously and in a collaborative team.
• Willingness to be registered with Securities Commissions as 'Associate Advising Representative' or 'Advising Representative'.
• Very strong interpersonal skills and passion for developing client relationships.
• Travel required.
• French language skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support on-going marketing and sales initiatives of subadvisory relationships within distribution channels; coordinate resources for client roadshows, events, due diligences, and opportunities.
• Support due diligence, compliance and manager research requests; organize meetings and showcase strategies.
• Promote awareness of MFS value proposition and products within client distribution and marketing teams; provide training on go-to-market launches.
• Provide market intelligence/infrastructure support to Canadian platform; collaborate with Canada Team on Retail market strategy.
• Update CRM with activities and meeting notes.
• Contribute to subadvisory product development opportunities and assist with gatekeeper initiatives.
