Job summary

Brim Financial is seeking a Director, Rewards & Marketplace to own the rewards ecosystem end-to-end, from partnerships to marketplace optimization. You will negotiate with merchants, brands, and networks, shape commercial models, and drive revenue with cardholder value.

You will build senior relationships across the ecosystem, manage the full commercial lifecycle, and influence product and marketing teams to unlock growth in North America.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years in partnerships, business development, rewards, loyalty, marketplaces or related roles.
• Deep expertise in rewards and merchant ecosystems.
• Strong existing network of merchant, brand and affiliate relationships.
• Ability to originate opportunities, structure partnerships, and close deals.
• Understanding of revenue share, merchant-funded offers, affiliate models and interchange.
• Excellent negotiation and contract skills; translate strategy into executable agreements.

Responsibilities

• Identify, source, and close high-value partnerships with merchants, brands, and networks.
• Own strategy, partner mix, merchandising, and evolution of Brim’s rewards marketplace.
• Develop commercial models across revenue share, merchant-funded offers, affiliate economics, interchange.
• Take partnerships from prospecting through contracting, onboarding, launch, and renewal.
• Track performance, revenue, engagement, and partner economics; optimize underperforming partnerships.
• Bring market intelligence and innovative ideas to strengthen Brim’s competitive position.
