Brant Community Healthcare System (BCHS) seeks a Director of Communications and Engagement – Redevelopment Projects to guide strategic communications and stakeholder engagement across Brantford and Paris campuses. You will lead teams, align messaging with BCHS priorities, and partner with government and community groups to support redevelopment efforts.

The role requires healthcare communications expertise, strong leadership, and a track record in capital redevelopment projects.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or related field.
• Minimum 5–7 years of progressively responsible communications leadership in capital redevelopment; healthcare experience preferred.
• Master’s degree or related postgraduate certificate is an asset.
• APR and/or IAP2 certification is considered an asset.
• Experience in media relations, issues management, crisis communications, government relations and public engagement.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, implement, and evaluate strategic communications plans for redevelopment projects.
• Lead engagement activities with stakeholders and government partners.
• Prepare executive materials, briefings, presentations, and updates for internal and external audiences.
• Drive organizational readiness communications for staff, physicians, volunteers, and patients.
• Manage external consultants and BCHS communications team to meet milestones.
