Job summary

Ontario Health seeks a seasoned Chief Communications and Corporate Affairs Officer to lead enterprise communications, corporate affairs and stakeholder engagement across government, health partners and the public.

Reporting to the President and CEO and serving on the Senior Leadership Team, you will shape strategic messaging, manage media relations, oversee public affairs, and nurture government relationships to support Ontario Health’s transformation and reputation.

Qualifications

  • Senior executive experience in communications, corporate affairs, or public affairs.
  • Proven ability to work with elected officials, Boards, and senior government leaders.
  • Exceptional communicator with strong relationship-building skills.
  • Strategic thinker who translates complex policy issues into clear messages.

Responsibilities

  • Lead enterprise communications, corporate affairs, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Oversee media relations and public affairs strategy.
  • Maintain strong relationships with Ministers’ offices and government partners.
  • Advise the President/CEO and Senior Leadership Team on reputation and engagement.
